Afghanistan Celebrates Qualifying for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015
Afghanistan will be routing to Australia and New Zealand in 2015 qualifies for the 50-over World Cup for very first time in history of Cricket. Afghanistan have taken an additional step in an extraordinary rise by succeed for their primary World Cup qualifier devastating win against Kenya. Afghanistan won the toss and elected to field first and bold out Kenya for just 93 runs.
Success was built by an excellent bowling show with still 29.1 overs left when Mohammad Nabi strike the winning runs to spool in an insufficient target of 94 and wins over 7 wickets. This qualifying match was being held at Sharjah. It was a daydream move toward true for the captain, Mohammad Nabi Afghan players feeling were exceptional and didn’t expected to play world cup as they showed from their feelings after match but they found an honor to play in 2015 world cup which will held in Australia and new Zealand.
Playing this world cup Team Afghanistan will step ahead to gain more experience and exposure in the international cricket and their image will increase in the world.
It’s definitely a great chance for the team to show that there is more than just terrorism in Afghanistan and that they wish to be the part of this world with peace and prosperity.
Note: Afghanistan will be in Pool A and their competition teams or co-grouped will be Bangladesh, England, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and another qualifier.
