Samsung reveals Galaxy S5, Galaxy Camera 2 Details: CES 2014

Samsung – one of the world’s dominant technology providers have yet again outlined the plans to launch a range of new devices in 2014.

Reportedly, the much-anticipated smartphone Samsung Galaxy S5 will be released by April, and the company is said to consider iris-scanning technology for its latest innovation in order to receive much favorable response to Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint sensor, the biometric authentication feature,  was first launched with the iPhone 5S.

In an interview with Bloomberg News, Samsung executive VP, Lee Young-hee divulge major plans for the company’s forthcoming flagship smartphone ‘Galaxy S5’ that will hit markets in the first quarter of the year. Whereas, the new Galaxy Gear smartwatch alongside Galaxy S5 will be launched with more advanced functions and a sleeker design.

Although, the next iteration of the Galaxy Phablet is tacked for the second quarter of the year, having the ‘three sided display’ that will allow consumers to have a more observable demonstration of its features.

However, Lee also acknowledged the slow modification of the Galaxy S4 that did not make its mark in the targeted audience, as they found S4 and SIII much alike from the physical perspective and in the display features.

For Galaxy S5, Samsung plans to refresh the basics, a new display and the feel of the cover will signifies Galaxy’s style statement. The Galaxy S5 will considerably change Samsung’s software with the new Android features of pastel color scheme and thinner fonts.

Samsung has also announced its Galaxy Camera 2 – however its identifications are similar to the original model. The second generation device features 4.8 inch display, 16-megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor with Xenon flash, and 21x optical zoom.

The software of the Galaxy Camera 2 will enable it’s consumers to access Google Play store. The camera is not only designed with an aim to provide a number of photo editing and sharing applications but it also includes 28 video shooting modes.

Samsung’s Andriod based camera seems promising with its amazing options especially designed for those who always search for an easier,  quicker and a compact technology.

The company has decided to launch  Samsung Camera 2 in the first quarter of 2014.
